“Small stones may well give us access to a giant’s sword.”
That sentence is something of the unoffical motto of DefendingGenesis.org. It refers to the historical narrative of David & Goliath. When most folks think of David & Goliath of Gath, they recall the shepherd boy’s sling and the fall of the giant. According to the Bible, the stone from David’s sling didn’t actually kill Goliath. No, but it put him on the ground alright. Once he was down, David took the giant’s own sword and cut off Goliath’s head.
We thank God for every small opportunity God gives us and we strive to use each of these “small stones” to their fullest and most effectual potention. By God’s grace and provision.
