I’m really too disgusted with this decision to comment on it fully. Today, the Supreme Court of the United States made a decision that undermines the constitutional rights of religious organizations everywhere. This comes on the eve of liberal activist Judge Crabb’s ruling that the National Day of Prayer is somehow unconstitutional! Activist judges are undermining the Christian heritage of this Nation and speeding this great Country toward Divine judgment!
In a 5-4 ruling in Christian Legal Society v. Martinez, the high court upheld a California law school’s denial of official recognition of a Christian student group because that group that refused to allow non-Christians to become voting members or leaders.
So a Christian campus group had the audacity to decide they were going to be a Christian group and that they weren’t going to allow non-Christians to subvert the authentic Christianity of their group. Wow. That’s brazen. Such exclusivity cannot be tolerated in this inclusive age of tolerance, right?
Um, let’s sprinkle in a dash of common sense [said quality evidently NOT a requirement for qualification as a US Supreme Court justice these days] and see if this floats…
I have a hockey club. A Baseball fan wants to join and become president and talk about baseball instead of hockey. How’s that sound?
How about this? A bunch of prolifers join an abortion activists [sorry, can’t call them pro-choice when they never give the pre-term baby a choice in the matter] club and consistently undermine their efforts, grinding the club’s purpose to a halt. [Not a bad idea actually since they’ve been dumb enoug to pass this ruling!]
Or this? The local Homosexual/Lesbian is forced to take members who are anti-gay and who regularly protest gay rights, gay marriage, et cetera. They’re also forced to allow anti-gay activists to become officers because they were infiltrated by those who oppose their agenda and weren’t [a] allowed to deny them membership or [b] allowed to deny them office. Come one, guys; what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, after all. What kind of a mess did the US Supreme Court just make for ALL campus groups in their efforts to enforce this unrealistic inclusivity?
The US Jesters [for surely they could not be serious!] who voted against religious liberty to score a few brownie points with antireligious liberals should have the integrity to step down for this political nonsense. They’re not upholding the Constitution; they’re trying to rewrite it in their own image. And they’re cutting their own noses off to spite their faces!
How long will God’s judgment tarry on the Nation that continually thumbs its nose at the King of Kings and Lord or Lords? How long will liberal activists pervert justice to spite the will of the Righteous Judge before Whom we must all stand?
