Update: Kanawha Creation Science Conference: Oct 3rd & 4th


As promised, here are a few more details regarding the upcoming Creation Conference sponsored by KCSG in South Charleston, WV on Friday, October 3, 2008 and Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Greater Things Fellowship. [Directions to the church are included at the end of this post]

Here’s the schedule for the conference:

October 3rd

6:00 p.m. – Registration
6:30 p.m. – Singing
7:00 p.m. – Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo – “Evolution: Stillborn, Interred, a Current Hallucination”
8:00 p.m. – Dr. Charles Jackson – “The Death of Darwin This Year”
9:00 p.m. – Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo – “The Earth Is 6,000 + 850 Years (Science)”
 

October 4th

5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Dinner
6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Dr. Charles Jackson – “Why Do The Nations Rage?”
7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo – “Reality Biology”
8:00 – 9:00 p.m. Questions & Answers

Directions to church:
Exit I-64 at Exit 56 (Montrose Drive), turn left on Kanawha Turnpike, make a right at the second street (Tremont Street), turn right at the end of this street onto Highland Avenue. The church is on the left near the end of Highland Avenue.
 
*For those interested, the general meeting of the KCSG is the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., also at Greater Things Fellowship and includes a speaker or Creation presentation.

    Orson Scott Card said it best:

    “Real science never has to resort to credentialism. If someone with no credentials raises a legitimate question, it is not an answer to point out how uneducated or unqualified the questioner is. In fact, it is pretty much an admission that you don’t have an answer, so you want the question to go away.”

    Having said that, do you havy any intelligent comments or specific objections to what he actually says? Or is weak ad hominem all you got?
